LIQUOR LICENSING
Liquor Licensing - Liquor licensing is regulated by the State of Colorado and the local jurisdiction. The process to obtain a new liquor license takes approximately 2-3 months and begins at the local level where the application is submitted to the Town Clerk.
Please NOTE: Applications are not dated until ALL fees, forms, and materials have been submitted to the Town Clerk. By State Statute, it is required that a License Hearing be held NOT less than 30 days after the date the Clerk has signed and dated receipt of the COMPLETE liquor license application. Town Board Hearings are typically held the 1st and 3rd Monday’s of each month at 6:30 pm, at Town Hall (166 Second Street, Monument, CO 80132).
Forms and information may be obtained from the Town Clerk’s Office. The Town Clerk and staff are not permitted by law to give any legal advice.
