MUNICIPAL COURT
PAYING FINES

The Judge must follow the law in deciding the amount of any fine imposed. Sometimes there are minimum penalties and mandatory assessments that must be imposed. Fines are generally expected to be paid at the time they are imposed. Court costs of $10.00 and, in the case of a speeding violation, a $12.00 Brain Injury Surcharge will be assessed in addition to the fine.

Fines and fees are expected to be paid at the time you accept the Plea Agreement. The Judge may grant a Stay of Execution of payment of court fines if requested.

You may pay your fine by cash, check, or money order. Credit cards are not currently accepted.
