Planning Commission

The Planning Commission is a volunteer commission of seven members appointed by the Board of Trustees. The Planning Commission meets once a month to make recommendations on land use applications and land use related ordinances before they are heard by the Board of Trustees. The Planning Commission meetings are held in Town Hall on the second Wednesday of each month. Meetings begin at 6:30pm.

The Planning Commission currently has openings. If you are interested in being considered for an appointment and have lived in Monument for at least one year, call Town Hall for an application.

VACANCY: Planning Commission

The Board of Trustees of the Town of Monument is accepting applications for Planning Commission members and for a Planning Commission Alternate. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, be a US citizen, and have lived within the Town of Monument for at least the last twelve (12) consecutive months. If interested, submit an application to the Development Services Department, 645 Beacon Lite Road, Monument, CO 80132, by November 10, 2011.
