Beacon Lite Road Culvert Replacement
The Town is currently under contract with KB Construction to replace the deteriorated drainage culvert underneath Beacon Lite Road, just north of State Highway 105.  Work will commence in late March and is expected to be completed by mid-summer.

Third Street Improvements (Beacon Lite Road to Front Street)
Town Staff is working with Nolte Associates, Inc., the engineering consultant for the project, to refine the scope and negotiate a design and construction administration contract for the project.  Construction of these improvements, which include installation of new storm sewers and inlets, curb and gutter, sidewalks, landscaping, and an asphalt overlay of the roadway, is anticipated to begin late this year.

Town Hall/Police Facility
The design of the building and site are currently well under way, with construction scheduled to begin this summer.  The location is the southwest corner of Beacon Lite Road and State Highway 105.

Water Treatment Plant Expansion
The expansion and updating of the existing plant on the corner of Second Street and Beacon Lite Road is essentially complete.  The facility is 100 percent operational, and just needs to have the landscaping installed, which will occur shortly now that winter is about over and planting season is here.
